인간 관계에서

외면하고 싶은 감정들.

사람과의 관계에서 상처 받기 싫어서  

스스로를 소외하는 사람들.

상대를 알고자 두드려보고 

섞이고자 눈치보고

관계를 지속하고자 노력하는

지지부진한 일상들

그 모든 것은 환상..잔혹동화 같은 인생.

In human relationships,

Feelings I turn away from

People I shut out

To protect my feelings. 

Tap their shoulder to better understand

But I walk on eggshells around them,

I maintain this relationship,

But my days become lethargic

All is fantasy,

A dark fairy tale.

깊은 바다를 유영하는 그대는 

세이렌 소리에 매혹되는 일은 없겠구나. 

수면의 높은 파도가 그대에게 닿지 않으니 

평온한 그대의 세계가 영원하기를

살만큼 살고 알만큼 안다고 생각했는데..아무것도 모르는 빈 몸뚱이가 빈 목소리로 허공에 대고 절규한다.

아무일도 없는 듯 지내는 일상은 부조리의 연속이다. 소화되지 못한 시간은 역하게 목구멍으로 스멀스멀 올라온다. 

더 이상 아프지 않게 해 주세요. 

아픔을 껴 안게 해 주시요. 

아픔을 사랑하게 해 주세요.

I am old enough, and know enough, so I thought.

Screaming into the abyss.

Living life, as if nothing is wrong

This life is the continuance of absurdity

Life yet undigested, seeps up, with a foul stench.

나의 존재를 묻고 나의 외로움을 묻어버리고 그리움을 찾아 너를 두드려 본다.

I bury my existence

I bury my loneliness

I knock to seek what I long.

관념적으로 생각해 온 공간과 실제 그 곳의 차이. 공간은 상상 속에서 완성되지 않는다. 

내가 존재해야 비로소 완성된다. 

가 보지 않은 공간에 대한 오해와 환상.

내가 존재할 때 비로소 완성되는 공간.

공간를 완성하는 마지막 퍼즐 조각은 나.

Difference between our preconceived notion and reality

That space is never complete in our imagination

It is only complete when I can exist

Imagination and prejudices of places I've never been

Only becomes complete when I exist

*Wrong Distance 

눈이 너무 건조해져서

검은 동자가 사막을 건너는 것 같아. 

피우지도 않을 손가락 끝에 걸려있는

세번째 담배의 연기 그물에 

운 좋게 걸리면

검은 동자는 눈물을 쏟아내겠지 

반짝이는 비늘같은 눈물이 연기 그물에서 춤을 출거야. 

* WRONG DISTANCE

My eyes have dried up

As if the black of my eyes are crossing the desert

The third cigarette, hanging on edge of my fingers, 

Though I don't puff, 

If I am lucky, the web of smoke will

Cause my eyes to shed a tear, like a stream.

Those tears will flicker like light on a scale,

And dance in that web of smoke.
